I thought the anti farm code was gone?
I've been farming a lot last week, cause I was bored and had run out of money
I know about the recent loot scaling, but still i got decent amount of golds in the beginning but those got of course less and less and less... I've been playing with groups too in between and on other characters but the bad droprate stays -_______- .. so that feels to me like the anti farm code is still active or what is going on, can someone explain |

During the recent double-experience elite skill cap weekend... I was playing a lot in the Thunderhead Keep and Ice Floe area trying to cap elites. Played with a full party of henchies.
The entire time... I had 1 crappy gold drop... 2 or 3 purples (one with a decent Swordsmanship +1 upgrade)... about 10 to 15 blues that were all merchant fodder... and at least over a hundred whites! For a higher level area... that just seems ridiculous. |

There is no anti-farming code - you are suffering from random drops.
If you choose not to believe this then simply pick whatever reason floats your boat as you are going purely on your "feeling" anyway - it might as well be something that fits it. There are several other threads where people decided that too many are noticing that they do not get drops at their maximum rate and decided that instead of random (because, you know, random actually means constantly dropping at your highest rate) it is some secret plot by anet, they lie all the time anyway. My personal guess is that all the laughing at us rubes has really lifted their spirit since all their changes have caused the entire GW community to leave en-mass and no one will ever purchase a game from them again - at least they get a good laugh when it is all over. |

some runs, i tend to agree with the op after getting 3 white drops and a ton of termite legs or some nonsense. Then the next time I leave town I get 16 golds...
(16 is an exageration, but 6 isn't uncommon for clearing an area) |

You tell 'em, strcpy.
Yesterday, I opened up the southern part of the Jade Sea from the Hatchery to Silent Surf, including Rhea's. I got 2 gold runes (both from chests), 4 purple drops (two from chests), a few blues, bunch of whites, two dyes, and some gold. To me this was a good day. My "normal" days are a few blues, lots of whites and gold. At least my "good" day paid for the cap sigs I used.
